This candid shot of Scott Aughenbaugh (Team High Performance), myself (Air Art) and Carl Robertshaw (AirKraft) was taken at the 1993 American Kite Magazine World Cup in Berkeley CA while we inspected a North Shore Radical between competition events. Very nostalgic photo for me.
Scott was probably the pilot whom I’d looked up to the most, and Carl was no slouch himself – just an epic personal moment, hanging out on the field with these two aces at a time when I was starting to make my own mark in Masters Class competition.
