One of the earliest kite photos I have of myself (age 16), this one taken by Mike Pederson at the 1991 Oregon State Stunt Kite Championships in Lincoln City, OR.
This was my first full season in Experienced class dual line competition, and actually won ballet at this event – which may be why I’m grinning in this shot.
