I love Bogota Colombia, and always seem to be presented with especially unique experiences and personalities when I visit – the 2013 trip was no exception, including a fair amount of time working with this young gentleman named Juan David… Keen mind, keen hands, we exchanged some tips on flying style and technique while working one corner of the field – I couldn’t get the grin off my face when the nearby spectators applauded his flying.
Most of all, the “aim for the horizon” implication of this image hits home for me.
