Another one of my all-time favorite photos, this with young Joe Loranger from Canada… Probably the youngest flier (7-8 yrs old at the time) I’ve ever had on a full team line, and it was no charity fly – he did really, really well, and kept up with more complex Intermediate maneuvers.
Can’t get over the size of him, standing between Steve de Rooy and I (both over six feet).
