Flying a custom Revolution Indoor to a 2nd place finish at the 2013 AKA Grand Nationals in Seaside, OR.
With Spence Watson coming on strong that year, I switched to this new track (“Knock on Wood”) just one week prior to the competition.
I listened to the track over and over, closing my eyes and imagining (mentally simulating) the performance in hopes of becoming comfortable with it.
Luckily, I had about an hour to practice prior to this competition performance and everything worked out.
